LDPE Drip Irrigation Tape Pelletizing Plant
Recycling of Low-Density Polyethylene Drip Irrigation Tapes
LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) drip irrigation tapes are commonly used plastic products in agricultural irrigation and are widely used due to their flexibility and durability. However, they are often discarded in large quantities at the end of their useful life, causing environmental impacts. Recycling discarded drip irrigation tapes converts them into economically valuable polypropylene granules.
LDPE Drip Irrigation Belt Pelletizing Process
Below are the main steps and methods for recycling LDPE drip irrigation tapes.
Step 1: Shredding into small pieces
Waste LDPE drip irrigation tapes are processed through a specialized plastic shredder that cuts or shreds them into small pieces or strips. The purpose of this step is to reduce the size of the material for subsequent cleaning and disposal.
- Recommended equipment: plastic shredder, suitable for processing soft plastics and agricultural waste.
Step 2: Cleaning the LDPE flakes
The crushed pieces of drip irrigation tape enter the plastic washing pool, where soil, dust, chemical residues and other impurities are removed by agitation or spraying.
- Cleaning equipment: plastic rinsing pool, friction washing machine.
Step 3: Lifting materials and removing water
The cleaned plastic pieces are dewatered in drying equipment to ensure that they are dry for subsequent processing.
- Commonly used equipment: plastic lifting dryer machine
Step4: LDPE drip irrigation tape pelletizing
The dried LDPE chips are melted, extruded and pelletized by plastic pelletizing machine, and finally made into high quality plastic pellets.
- Recommend recycling equipment: plastic pelletizer
Summary
Through the whole process of crushing, cleaning, drying and pelletizing, the waste LDPE drip irrigation tape can be reused. The LDPE granules produced can be used to remanufacture drip irrigation tape, plastic film, pipe, etc.. Not only reduce the environmental hazards of plastic waste, but also provide new business opportunities for the plastic recycling industry.
