A Hong Kong-based technology and trading company recently placed an order for a complete HDPE PP pelletizing line from Shuliy Machinery. The client specializes in plastic material trading and needed a high-efficiency recycling production line to process hard HDPE and PP waste into premium-quality pellets.

HDPE PP Pelletizing Line Project Background
The client had been sourcing recycled plastic pellets for downstream manufacturers across Asia. With growing demand for high-quality recycled HDPE and PP materials, they decided to invest in their own plastic recycling granulator machine setup to control pellet quality and reduce raw material costs. Recycling Solution Configuration
The HDPE PP pelletizing line we delivered consists of 16 units forming a complete production workflow:
Crushing & Washing Section:
- Belt conveyor (5m × 0.5m, 1.5kW) — feeds materials to the crusher
- プラスチック破砕機 (SL-60, 22kW) — capacity 600-800kg/h, equipped with 10 blades made of 60Si2Mn alloy steel for high hardness and wear resistance
- Automatic sharpening machine (SL-1000) — maintains blade sharpness every 3-5 days without manual intervention
- Screw washing machine (11kW, 3m length) — filters water and removes impurities
- 洗浄槽 (5m × 1.3m × 1.2m) — with 2 motorized grapples for thorough cleaning
- Vertical hoister (7.5kW) — conveys and pre-dewateres materials from the washing tank
- Dewatering machine (SL-500, 11kW) — 304 stainless steel internal screen with high-speed rotation for effective drying
Pelletizing Section:
- Feeding machine with iron remover — protects the extruder from metal contamination
- Main plastic extruder (SL-150, 45kW) — features electromagnetic heating (40kW × 2) for even and fast temperature control, with 40Cr screw for durability
- Second stage extruder (SL-135, 22kW) — with 380mm electric gear screen changer for continuous filtration
- Water cooling tank (3m, stainless steel) — cools the extruded strands
- Pellet cutting machine (SL-180, 3kW) — hob knife design with converter speed regulation
- Shaker machine (2.2kW) — blows and dries pellet moisture
- Pellet silo (1-ton capacity) — stores finished pellets with fan and pipe system
Two independent electric control cabinets manage each section, featuring frequency conversion, overload protection, and precise temperature control.
Delivery & Service
The entire plastic pellet production line was shipped in one 40ft container from Qingdao Port. The delivery cycle was approximately 25 working days from order confirmation. Our team provided complete installation guidance, commissioning support, and operator training to ensure the client could start production immediately upon arrival.
